The standard courses:


Legionella Awareness
Aimed at Managers, Supervisors and staff with responsibilities. A basic understanding of applicable legislation, simple microbiology, legionella, risk assessment requirements and the need for a written schemes (1 Day)

Cooling Tower Operators
Controlling legionella in cooling towers. A basic operators course covering the risks, simple water treatment, controls and corrective actions. (1 Day)

Basic Legionella Risk Assessment
Risk assessment of domestic water systems first principals of conducting and reporting a legionella risk assessment survey. (1 Day) A sound understanding of hot and cold water systems is required before attending this course.

Advanced Risk Assessment
Training for staff who will be conducting legionella risk assessments on a regular basis and need a knowledge of assessing other systems. This course should include practical on-site days and an assessment of an actual risk assessment by the attendee. (3 to 5 Days)

Cleaning & Disinfection
Starting with the theory, disinfectants, pH and dose rate calculations.
Including a hands on practical session using a mini rig or client site, including the use of test kits and raising certificates.

Water Treatment
Basic Water Treatment Chemistry - Atoms, Ions and hydrogen bonding for those entering the water treatment industry (1 Day) Cooling & Boiler Water Treatment Chemistry, Products, Principals & Programming. (1 to 5 Days)
